Film on film, Warsaw 1942

Yael Hersonski's A Film Unfinished is about Nazi footage taken in the Warsaw Ghetto not long before its liquidation. Hersonski talks to the Jewish Daily Forward about her documentary, giving a fascinating account of how the Nazi propaganda footage was staged and the state of affairs 'outside the frame'. She also talks about how the footage has subsequently been used.
