Ken Loach, as we know, finds anti-Semitism understandable. One thing he clearly doesn't understand is 'free cultural exchange'. More dismaying, the Edinburgh International Film Festival, though paying lip service to that value and professing itself 'wholly cultural and apolitical', becomes shamefully confused under pressure from the eminent Loach.
