Here's somebody talking about anti-Americanism:
[I]n Europe, there is an anti-Americanism that is at once casual but can also be insidious. Instead of recognizing the good that America so often does in the world, there have been times where Europeans choose to blame America for much of what's bad.
Sometimes when this sort of thing is said about attitudes on the liberal-left, those of us who say it are taken to task. Anti-Americanism? Come on. It's just criticism of particular US policies. I'm guessing that this guy will be spared all that - because he's Barack Obama; and he also balances what he says about anti-Americanism by some remarks on American failures to appreciate Europe. It's from that same Strasbourg speech that I just linked to.
