Novel concept

I don't agree with my daughter Jenny about all of the novels we happen to have read in common. But it's not unusual for us to like the same books, and we certainly like the same kind of thing. In a post round at The Picador Blog, Jenny explains her basic concept - that of 'proper people in interesting situations' - to which I also adhere. The explanation is spelled out by reference to some of the relevant contrasts there are with 'proper' and 'interesting'.
