I've said before here that concern over declining birth rates isn't a trend I think anyone should be exercised about. If you think your country has too few people, encourage immigration, open your doors to refugees, etc. But here's a report of just such concern in Japan, where people in the relevant age range are not getting enough sex. I was struck by a couple of remarks from Dr Kunio Kitamura, family planning association director:
