Clarification from the scientist

Saying he was set up, Richard Dawkins today apologizes to Peter Kay. Credit to him for that. The terms of his apology would seem to leave it that people who believe in God because they find it comforting to do so are not to be taken seriously. But this is only by way of a general thesis, not implying personal scorn towards anyone in particular - so might be considered a clarification to the good.
