Vashti McCollum 1912-2006

I have to confess that I'd not previously heard of Vashti McCollum who has died at the age of 93. I should have. As the notice here says, '[her] objection to her son's taking religious training in school led to a landmark U.S. Supreme Court ruling affirming the separation of church and state in public education'.
