There's a long list of university folk signing a letter to the Guardian today in which they object to the 'contravention of international law'. By whom? By whom do you think - by Israel, of course. Given that they're talking about a conflict in which there are, beyond any question, contraventions of international law for which other parties than Israel are responsible - I mean here Hizbollah - you'd think this large collection of scholars might have noticed, and seen fit to remark on, that. They don't. They're good enough to mention the deaths of Israeli civilians, but only as being Israel's fault. It's more of this sort of thing.
