There ain't no subordinate clause

There is a post by me about the Piraha people. They have few number words. They have difficulty counting. I also see this about them:

They hardly use any words associated with time.

And this:

[T]he Pirahas don't use subordinate clauses.

So, they do not say:

When I have finished eating, I would like to speak with you. [Eh? - Ed.]

No, they say:

I finish eating, I speak with you.

I know a certain person. He thinks:

Norman Geras visits with the Piraha people, it does him good.
