Election commission officials and U.N. officials, who also took part in the audit, "found no cases of fraud that could affect the results of the vote,'' Ayar said.
A senior United Nations official in Iraq, Carina Perelli, said the election had been conducted to the highest standard.So Iraqis have now voted twice this year. They haven't been voting for the 'insurgency'. The question of legitimacy in Iraq is once again made clear."It has been audited, controlled - it has been done really in a very professional way," she said.
"The result is accurate. It has been checked according to the processes that we all follow when we have elections."
