Slur

On the front page of the dead tree version of the Graun today is the headline:

Iran attacked for Israel slur

For some reason this isn't online. The slur is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's call for Israel to be 'wiped off the face of the earth'. I must say, 'slur' isn't the first word that would occur to me here - nor would it be if I were to hear a call for someone to be beaten to a pulp.
