Yesterday, the first Guardian leader told us that Iraq was the key issue in this election campaign. Today, the paper's only leader tells us, by implication, that it is not:

[V]oters should use their heads and hearts to re-elect Labour with an increased Liberal Democrat presence.Which means only vote LibDem where that doesn't risk letting the Tories in. Me, I'd simplify that: only vote Labour. Still, I'm glad to see the Guardian retains at least some of its marbles. Here's a non-rhetorical question: has any other newspaper done more over the last two years to lose votes for Labour?
