Right now, even as I post, Classic FM are running through the top 40 movie soundtracks, as voted for on their site. I have a complaint: against the voters. How can you have a top that-many movie soundtracks and not include the music of Bernard Herrmann for either Psycho or Vertigo? Is it just a generational thing - a lot of, you know, less mature people voting? Evidently not, because as you can see, Jerome Moross's music for The Big Country from the same era is in there. As it should be. So I don't know.
