Ever look at a story and think there must be a missing element to it? This is such a story. BA won't let the guy fly because he's carrying an insulin injection kit. They say their rules on syringes are well known. He says he must be able to take his medication on the flight. From the way the story's told, it apparently occurs to no one to suggest that a member of the crew hold the kit for him except for the few moments it takes for him to use it - under supervision, I guess. (Thanks: Damian.)
