Again with the smoking. It seems Cuba are now joining the club, 'banning smoking in stores, theatres, meeting halls and other public places starting tomorrow'. It's such a simple point. I don't like breathing second-hand smoke either, and I'd like to be able to avoid having to do that except when I so choose. But smokers are also part of the public. The rules should be such as to allow them, and anyone wanting to join them, public spaces. Funny, but car drivers get that consideration. (Via Tim Blair.)
