Fv: 'Private Schnoek, I've got bad news for you.'

Sv: '"Private"? But I'm a generral!'

Fv: 'Zet's ze bad news.'

A snatch of dialogue from an ancient Goon Show, remembered (or misremembered) by me for some 45 or more years. Looks like it might be from here. It was summoned up again by this piece by Eddie Izzard. Another remembered snippet (the voice here, I believe, Bluebottle's):

'Oahhh. When I went to sleep my eyes were open, but when I woke up they were shut. That means I must have dropped off while I was asleep.'
