Drew and Simon's homework

Like me, Drew and Simon are obviously on holiday. But don't think they have no work to do. They were both set a weekend assignment on the train from Schippol airport to The Hague. The assignment: to think out their entries to the normblog rock poll. And all of you who've not yet entered? (You know who you are. I know who you are.) What are you thinking of, for goodness sake? The deadline is only five days away. In my family, this is what's known as cutting it fine. Still, I know you won't let me down.
