This being Sunday, I thought I'd have a go at the What Christian Theologian are you? quiz - discovered via Die Niemandsblog - even though there are those, including myself, who would say I'm definitely ineligible. Not only am I not a Christian, I'm also a lifelong atheist. Well, I think I may have wavered for a week or two at the age of 12 while studying for my Barmitzvah. Anyway, I know precious little about Christian theology and therefore had not a clue who I was likely to turn out. Here is my result:
"God will not suffer man to have the knowledge of things to come; for if he had prescience of his prosperity he would be careless; and understanding of his adversity he would be senseless.""Nice debating with you" I do often get, but I wouldn't say it's an altogether universal reaction. Die Niemandsblog was Karl Barth, and Anti-Climacus was John Calvin. You?You are Augustine!
You love to study tough issues and don't mind it if you lose sleep over them. Everyone loves you and wants to talk to you and hear your views, you even get things like "nice debating with you." Yep, you are super smart, even if you are still trying to figure it all out. You're also very honest, something people admire, even when you do stupid things.
