Shalom Auslander just won the Jewish Quarterly Wingate Prize for Jewish Literature, for his book Hope: A Tragedy. You can watch his acceptance speech below, but be warned - he has some harsh things to say about the Almighty, although he seems to fear Him at the same time. Hilary Mantel also puts in an appearance.
