When I got to New York City last May, first thing I did after checking into my hotel was to walk up Park Avenue to Grand Central Station. Why? Because Grand Central is cool, that's why. Here's a cool Grand Central happening...
Did you know this?
Alfred Hitchcock was one of the most prominent fans of the terminal. Apparently he always worked to make Grand Central look grand, shooting it in Technicolor where possible.
It's just one of a hundred facts about the place that you can find here as Grand Central reaches its centenary. Oh, and this is Cary Grant right there in Hitch's North By Northwest. (Watch out for Ned Glass.)
