Adèle and I were in Essex yesterday visiting friends, and they took us to - among other places - Copford cricket ground. The most striking feature of this ground is the old oak tree standing right inside it. As the pictures below show, it's like a massive extra fielder in the covers - or at midwicket, when the bowling is from the other end.
