After the two glycerine bars with which I began this series, I now move on to a Raspberry Soap. Described on the tin - for that is what it comes in, and a most useful tin it is - as 'sweet and luscious', this soap is made in Scotland by Scottish Fine Soaps. You can buy yours here for £4.96, though where we bought it (WotN and me) was in the shop at the Cambridge University Botanic Garden.
The Raspberry Soap is pink and smells delicious. The only thing of which I must warn potential purchasers is that so convincing is the raspberry fragrance that you may be tempted to take a bite. However, its fragrance notwithstanding, this remains a soap and not a fruit, and you would regret eating it. Use it for its intended cleansing purpose and you are bound to be pleased.
