It's all about to happen and who can there be that isn't excited about it? Even Jane Austen would be unable to cope with indifference in the face of Thursday, approaching. So, on that account, I offer you the chance to participate in a great pitch-in.
How it works is that you send me your prediction for the result of the series: 2-1 (and 2 draws), 3-2, 1-1, whatever, stating the winning side, obviously, if there is to be one. Because predictions are likely to home in on a small number of outcomes, we need a few tie-breakers. First tie-breaker is the sequence of results - as in: D, A, E, A, A (I wish). Second tie-breaker: the batsman, on either side, with the top batting average for the series (at least four innings to qualify). Third tie-breaker: the bowler, ditto, who takes the most wickets.
Winner gets a book token of some number of ruboolas at my discretion. The 'event' closes on Wednesday 24 November at 8.00 p.m., my time. Don't be tardy, be most hardy.
