Foot in mouth disease

I'd like to have a better grasp on this guy's logic - this guy being Yakov Litzman. He wants swine flu renamed 'in deference to Muslim and Jewish sensitivities'. The item here explains that 'Judaism and Islam consider pigs unclean and forbid the eating of pork products'. So where's the problem? No one is thinking (are they?) that swine flu is either clean or to be eaten by Jews and Muslims. (Via B&W.)
