Here's the story. There are these two lists, songs of love and songs of heartbreak, and I'm looking to see what's been left out - as ya do. Then, remembering the principle 'Never overlook an opportunity for a new series', I have the idea that I could post a series of songs of love and/or heartbreak that I particularly like and the compilers of the two lists have omitted. And then I think: hang on, why should I not include some songs that they haven't omitted? I don't want to weaken my own selection. You know, I could just post my own choices. That's what I aim to do. Most days and until further notice, a song of love or heartbreak - to lift your spirits or bring a tear to your eye.
