Science striding ahead

Did you know that people are, generally, more attracted to others when those others are attracted to them? Yes indeed. Research has shown. I'm thinking of working up an application for a big research grant on a complementary project. My hypothesis:

People are disinclined to like others who give clear evidence of not liking them.

Could it be so? Research will show.
