Delusive bequest

The man thought that the Conservative Party was the only way of holding back 'dark forces'. He left his entire fortune, worth more than £8 million, to them. A judge has now ruled that he was mentally ill, and 'would not have given the money to the Tories if he was of sane mind'. That's a lovely counterfactual, don't you think? (Thanks: D.)
