Corruption and fraud

> Staff claim tens of thousands of pounds in school fees for non-existent children.

> Employees defraud the tax authorities by claiming refunds, due to the organization employing them, for mortgage interest and property taxes.

> The same organization pays a company millions for a contract that includes a charge for the services of 28 employees to staff two fire engines on an airfield with only two flights a week.

Got it yet? The organization 'losing hundreds of millions of pounds through corruption and fraud'? Well, it's the UN - as set out in a new book by one of its former auditors, Edwin Nhliziyo.
