I like, from time to time, to be introducing new names into the Momma 'n' Daddy Collection. When I say 'new', I don't mean new to me; I mean new to the series - and especially aimed at those of you beginning to look sleepy. Such a name is Rodney Crowell. If you've followed Emmylou's music, you'll know about Rodney Crowell, and you may know about him anyway. But it's time he was featured here. Saying goodbye to his old man for the last time, Rodney sings 'Things I Wish I'd Said' (as transcribed by me):
