Next station stop

The Euston Manifesto is 'really very good' and also 'well written and timely'. But it's 'a gigantic waste of time and energy'. That's the view of Daniel Finkelstein, as explained by him in today's Times. For the moment I'll just quibble over 'gigantic'. It took some energy, yes, but not an inordinate amount. Was the energy wasted? The answer to that can wait.
