I apologize for the lack of posts yesterday, but it was beyond my control. The story is here.
On account of the Typepad outage the normblog profile, which has appeared pretty punctually for 116 consecutive Fridays since the series began, didn't make it till the early hours of this morning. Whatya gonna do?
And for the same reason I wasn't able to announce this - normblog's topping the poll for Best UK Blog. Thanks to everyone who voted for me. Thanks to the comrades at Harry's Place, the Elders at Simply Jews and all others who gave their support.
Just because I'm now free to blog again doesn't mean I'm free to blog today. I am not. Other matters are afoot. Well, it's Saturday, isn't it? - a day of rest, reading, roaming about the country and re-telling old stories which you first heard from your grandma and hadn't remembered until just the other day. By tomorrow I may be back to normal.
