Three years of DSW - Louis Sinclair
Over at the Stoa, Chris has just marked the third anniversary of the Dead Socialist Watch series. He's inviting people to send in the names of further dead socialists.
Here's a contribution: Louis Sinclair. Louis was 'the author of a monumental bibliography of Leon Trotsky's written legacy'. I visited him in Glasgow on two occasions: once in November 1977, and the other time not long after that. His library of Trotsky's works was something to behold, and he himself was a most hospitable and generous man. He gave me the typescript of a supplement to his Trotsky bibliograpy - I still have it - and an old gladstone bag to carry it away in.
