Hugo Mash

I was downtown yesterday meeting a friend for lunch. She suggested we eat at Hugo Mash, and I'm posting this recommendation. Hugo Mash is conveniently situated if you're shopping in the centre of the city - it's on the corner of Portland and Minshull streets, just to the side of Piccadilly Gardens - and the food is tasty and inexpensive. The good old mashed potato is the central concept, in a whole bunch of variations, along with 'your favourite dish'. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings there is live music, classical and jazz.
